How to decide
Ask yourself one question: does your light need to move, or does your client?
If you work from a fixed chair, table, or bed every day, and your clients come to the same station, the Wall Light removes the repositioning and gives you back floor space. If you move between rooms, share a station, or work mobile or guest spots, the Floor Light gives you the same lighting quality without requiring installation.
Some studios use both: a Wall Light at the primary station and a Floor Light for a secondary room, guest chair, or mobile setup. No rule says it has to be one or the other.
