Quick Setup Guide

Step 1: Charge the remote

1. Plug the remote into a charger.
   
2. Charge until the indicator light shows it’s ready (or until it stops blinking).
   

Step 2: Turn on the remote

1. Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns on.
   
2. If it blinks, it’s ready to pair.
   

Android Setup (Bluetooth)

Step 3: Pair with your phone

1. Open Settings on your phone.
   
2. Tap Bluetooth.
   
3. Turn Bluetooth ON.
   
4. Look for the device name (often something like the brand name).
   
5. Tap it to connect.
   

✅ Once it connects, you can start using the remote right away.

iPhone Setup (Bluetooth + Enable Zoom Button)

Step 3: Pair with your iPhone

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Tap Bluetooth.
   
3. Turn Bluetooth ON.
   
4. Tap the remote name to connect.
   

Step 4: Turn on “Zoom” so the Zoom button works

This is only needed if your remote has a Zoom lever/button.

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Tap Accessibility
   
3. Tap Zoom
   
4. Turn Zoom ON
   
5. Turn on Zoom Controller (optional but helpful)
   

How to exit Zoom if your screen magnifies

• Double-tap the screen with three fingers to turn Zoom off and back on.
  

How to Use the Remote (Daily Use)

Take a photo

1. Open your camera app.
   
2. Press the shutter button on the remote to take a picture.
3. Use the two mode buttons to switch between video and photo modes.

Zoom in and out (if your remote has a zoom lever)

• Use the zoom lever to zoom in or out.
  
• On iPhone, make sure Zoom is enabled in Accessibility (steps above).
  

Troubleshooting (Simple Fixes)

If it won’t connect:

1. Turn Bluetooth off, then back on.
   
2. On your phone’s Bluetooth list, tap the device and choose Forget, then reconnect.
   
3. Turn the remote off and back on, then try pairing again.
   

If it connects but doesn’t work:

• Make sure your camera app is open and you are on the camera screen.
  
• For zoom issues on iPhone, confirm Accessibility → Zoom is enabled.
