Why I created CosmoGlo
Here's My thoughts as the Founder

Is CosmoGlo worth it? Absolutely! And I say that as someone who has done the math more times than I can count - both as a lash artist who lived the problem, and as the founder who built the solution.
But I want to give you more than a yes. I want to give you the actual thinking, because this is a real investment and you deserve to understand exactly what you're getting and why it matters - from someone who has sat in the exact same chair you're sitting in, and felt the same frustrations as you. I know the feeling of having to choose if I want to spend my minute in between clients deciding if I am going to use the restroom, chug my iced coffee, or down a bag of chips in record time. I know the pain of squeezing someone in, just for them to no show on your only day off in weeks. I know what its like to have top heavy lights that risk falling on your client at any point as they expressively tell you everything they need to catch you up on their last few weeks of life.
The thing is, up until CosmoGlo, there was never an industry specific lighting that was created for beauty and tattoo professionals. All our options were borrowed from the sewing and craft industry, or from the filing industry, or even content creation lights.
I knew there had to be a better way, and as I bought every light on the market, I realized there really wasn't. So I decided to be the one to do something about it. If I could fix my problem, I could help all of us, across the world, and there is so much beauty in that!
Nearly 6 years after my very first prototype, we re loved by 35,000 artists around the world, who rely on their CosmoGlo light to light up their workday, everyday. Most of the lights purchased at launch in 2020 are still running brightly in treatment rooms today. We have hundreds of 5-star reviews, we have thousands of loyal followers across our social media channels, and we support working professionals every hour, of every day.
I created CosmoGlo because we needed better lighting. Now we have it!
It is the only patented, American-made lighting system purpose-built for beauty and aesthetic professionals, and it delivers back immeasurable return through faster services, better client results, happier clients, eyes that feel better at the end of the day, and content that speaks for itself from having the perfect light illuminating your work.

I Know How much Bad Lighting was costing me - and I had to fix it
Before CosmoGlo existed, I was a lash artist doing what most of us do: making it work with whatever light I had. A ring light borrowed from a photography setup. An overhead fluorescent that washed everything out. A reposition-able lamp that wobbled every time I touched it.
None of those lights were designed for treatment room work. And the consequences were real: shadows at exactly the angles I needed to see better, eye fatigue that hit by mid-afternoon, and photos of my work that looked flat and dim no matter how good the actual lash set was.
I didn't sit down one day and decide to start a lighting company. I got fed up with a problem I couldn't find a solution for - and then I built one.
That is the foundation of every decision that went into CosmoGlo. Not what's cheapest to manufacture or ship, in the smallest box. What actually works in a treatment room, for the people doing the work. I wanted stability and performance. Quality you can feel right out of the box. That's not an accident. It's the standard I refused to compromise on.
The Real Cost Isn't the Light - It's What You're Losing Without One
Here is the question: what is your current lighting situation already costing you?
Not in dollars. In time. In eye strain. In the client who scrolled past your before-and-after because the photo was too dim to stop the scroll. In the appointment that ran 20 minutes long because you kept repositioning to see clearly. In the hesitation from a potential client who didn't rebook because your room didn't quite feel like the elevated experience they were looking for.
Every one of those moments has a dollar value. Add them up over a month, and the math on CosmoGlo looks very different than the sticker price.
That's not me selling you something. That's me telling you what I figured out the hard way before I stopped tolerating it.
What I Built and Why Each Feature Exists
CosmoGlo is not a ring light with a new label. I've seen the comparisons and I understand the skepticism. Ring lights are inexpensive. They're everywhere. Why pay more?
Because ring lights were designed for content creators and photographers - not for someone who needs to see 6mm blonde lashes on the inner corners of an eyelid while holding two sharp instruments in each hand and playing with glue. The circular design creates a hot spot in the center and shadows at the exact angles treatment room work requires. That's a physics problem. No ring light fixes it.
The wrap around arc shape solves it. I have the patent because I designed something that didn't exist before. The half-moon design wraps around the treatment area and moves with you to perfectly illuminate every angle that has your focus. It eliminates the shadows. It removes the strain. Your body stops compensating for bad light and starts doing the work it's there to do.
Here's what else I built into it - and why:
- Patented wrap around arc - the only light on the market engineered specifically for treatment room services.
- American-made construction - twice the weight of competing lights offering true stability, unlike any other light on the market. Every other manufacturer cuts materials in half to hit a lower price point. That doesn't work for me. I know the time we spend in those studios. Cheap is not the answer to the problem, Lightweight would make us the same as everyone else. You deserve tools that perform at a professional level. Made from American made industrial steel, right here in the USA.
- 360-degree positioning - You don't have to dance around you light when you have a CosmoGlo. The light moves where you need it to, effortlessly, so you can stay focused on your client, and deliver the best results you've ever given.
- Custom designed phone holder - I know you're going to want to capture your work, and I wanted that to be seamless, not a separate tripod situation that holds your phone hostage then entire time. Our phone holder easily clips on and off your light allowing you to keep full access to your light throughout your appointments. The hands free, overhead angle lights up your client for the most breathtaking after photos without the editing - saving you time in your busy week. Clients book based on the content you post. A perfectly lit photo will out perform a dim, unevenly lit photo 10 to 1. That's not your talent speaking, that's bad lighting turning potential clients away before you even have a chance to show them your skills.
- Adjustable - because your space, your services, and your clients all vary. Your light should be accommodating to that.
- Easy on the eyes LEDs - Gentle for your clients, and bright for you. A soft dimmer lets you pick the perfect brightness. Most people rarely use their light over 80% brightness, it gets bright! Unlike a ringlight that blasts light into your clients eyes, and keeps it away from the areas you actually need it - our light shines exactly where you need it, and no where that you don't. You'll notice that your clients will compliment how their eyes feel better under our light.
- Non heating LEDS - I know what its like to work in a small room and feel the temperature rise and you're trying to keep a guest comfortable and your glue stable. Enjoy non heating LEDs to keep your room comfortable even in the longest days.
- The only aesthetic treatment room light - It looks like a piece of art rather than a luminary. Show off your space, and do it with pride! You created this space for your clients to come and have a break from their day. Watch your confidence soar when your room looks like it should be featured in a magazine. The details matter, we know this all too well in the beauty industry. Stand out from your competition by looking the most professional to your clients.
The Math That Made Me Stop Hesitating (Girl Math Approved)
Here is the version of the math I wish someone had shown me earlier.
At $449, CosmoGlo costs $1.25 per day for the first year.
Every day after that first year is free.
Most lights from our 2020 launch are still in active daily professional use. That means artists who bought at launch have been running on free for years. The total cost over daily use works out to less than 25 cents a day.
Now compare that to a $95 budget light that dims within six months, flickers under daily repositioning, prematurely tires out your eyes half way through the day, causes your clients eyes to water, and puts off heat, making it uncomfortable for you both.
Those fall over and break easily, each replacement is money that could have bought you a CosmoGlo light - with none of the performance, and none of the professional credibility a well-equipped treatment room communicates.
The investment is not $449. It's $1.25 a day. The rest takes care of itself.

Your Lighting Is Also Your Marketing Budget
If you're posting your work on Instagram or TikTok, and you should be, your lighting is not a studio accessory. It's your marketing framework.
Potential first clients evaluate how your work looks in a photos, not how your technique is. A sharp, well-lit, color-accurate image of a lash set or a brow shaping stops the scroll. A dim, shadowy version of the same exact work sends that client to the next profile.
I designed the phone holder into CosmoGlo specifically because I understood this. The light that makes your services better is the same light that makes your content better.
Think about a single new client who booked you because your content stopped their scroll. Depending on your service, that client returns four to twelve times a year. Over two years, that one client represents revenue that far exceeds the cost of the light. CosmoGlo doesn't just improve your work - it actively helps you generate the bookings that grow your business.
And when you're fully booked, you will raise your prices. Better results, better content, and a more elevated client experience give you the right conditions to charge what you're worth. This light creates the foundation for that shift.

What 35,000 Artists Taught Me About My Own Product
I built CosmoGlo for the artist I was. But over 35,000 beauty and aesthetic professionals - lash artists, estheticians, PMU artists, nail techs, tattoo artists, medical aestheticians have shown me what it means to them.
A constant theme that comes up in reviews and in conversations at trade shows, is not just that the light is good. It's that the light changed how their business operates. Faster services. Less eye fatigue. Portfolio photos that actually represent the quality of their work. A confidence in their treatment room that shows up in how clients experience their appointments.
New artists say it was the first piece of equipment that made them feel like they'd truly arrived. Established artists say they wish they'd bought it sooner.
I hear both of those things and I feel grateful every time. Because that's exactly what I was trying to build.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a CosmoGlo light cost? CosmoGlo lights start at $449+, depending on the model and current promotions. Shop Pay installment options are available, so you can start using your light right away and pay over time.
How long does a CosmoGlo last? Most lights from our 2020 launch are still in active daily professional use — a practical lifespan well beyond five years. We back every light with a one-year warranty, and our support continues long after that. If something goes wrong years later, we'll work to replace the part, not the whole unit.
Does it work for someone just starting out? It's actually one of the best early investments you can make. Starting with professional tools means you work better from day one, build a portfolio that attracts higher-paying clients, and skip the cycle of replacing cheap lights every year. The investment pays back through better results, higher retention, and the credibility to raise your prices as your reputation grows.
How does it compare to cheaper alternatives? Budget lights are built for minimum cost, not maximum performance. Thin materials, weaker LEDs, tripod designs that wobble under daily professional use. CosmoGlo is twice the weight of competing lights and was engineered specifically around the illumination angles treatment room work demands. The difference is apparent from your first service.
Is it worth it for someone who already has a ring light? Yes. A ring light is not a substitute for a treatment room light. It was designed for a different use case. The shadows a ring light creates at close-up service angles are a physics issue the design can't solve. CosmoGlo's half-moon arc was built to solve exactly that problem.
