Both lights share the same patented shadow-free halo and are made in the USA. The key differences: the XL reaches 12 inches higher (up to 70 inches vs 58 inches), has a larger base for added stability, and offers three color temperatures (cool, daylight, and warm) instead of one. If your services are performed on flat treatment beds or lower tables, the Original is the right choice. If you work standing, on taller setups, or want full color temperature control, choose the XL.

I’ve since purchased all the other things and just ordered wheels but this light is the best light for lash artist and anyone trying to get the most bang for their buck! You won’t regret it!

Overall, I like the light. Brightness is great. It’s a little bit difficult to assemble for one person. You have to feed the wire through the pole and that can be challenging if you don’t have help. It’s heavy duty sturdy. Time will tell how well it holds up. It’s very aesthetic and nice to look at. Shipping is not free – that would’ve been nice however compared to other brands the price is reasonable.
I purchased my cosmoglo years ago now and needed to write a review since I’m still absolutely loving it. It’s always worked perfectly after years of almost daily use (10+hrs a day!). It gives me perfect lighting while lashing, eliminating all shadows. I love it for before and after photos as well. I’m always recommending this light to others!!

They kept me updated and as soon as shipping was released here I invested in my XL gold cosmo! I absolutely love it. Although I was very excited to receive my cosmoglo light, when I opened my box, I realized the inner pole was orange and rust. Very disappointing considering the price as well as the wait on shipping time. I did not have time to return for a replacement as I had already sold my previous lamp and needed the lighting to complete scheduled clients.

Beautiful and sturdy light!
I recently purchased an original CosmoGlo light, but it only comes with one color option (white). Unfortunately, the white light alone makes it difficult for me to see the hair for my work in electrolysis. Is it possible to exchange it for a different model (XL)?

Very nice quality light for my spa and flexible payment options!
We do love our CosmoGlo lights. The only thing I wish they would correct/improve on is the way a cell phone is held on the holder. Currenltley, they send you two black rubber bands (and no replacements). I feel that this sort of "cheapens" the product. I have better camera holders on $50 ring lights I have purchased off of amazon. Hopefully, they will improve on this and then the product will be a 5 Star product.

I really do love my cosmoglo lamps but I will say that I did have trouble with two of my orders. One order said it had already arrived and I had to reach out to let them know I never received one of my lamps and then another separate order that I had placed had the "M" from the "COSMOGLO" branding on the side of the lamp fall off, right out of the box. Other than these two issues, again, I really do love my lamps.

IS THERE A WALL OR CEILING ATTACHMENT OR OTHER TYPES OF BASES?
We do not offer any additional attachments or alternative bases for our Original or XL CosmoGlo Lights. The CosmoGlo Light was designed with gravity and physics in mind to allow for 360-degree movement of the lighted arc/halo and to gently glide away from clients. Because this is a heavier light, the flat base is essential for keeping the halo properly balanced and stable.
However, we do now offer the CosmoGlo Wall Light, our newest model, for those looking for a base-free option. The Wall Light mounts directly to the wall, helping free up floor space while still providing the signature CosmoGlo lighting experience.
HOW DO I ADJUST THE HEIGHT?
Use the tightening knobs on the vertical pole to raise or lower the light. It’s quick, smooth, and stays in place.
WHAT IS THE CRI AND LED INFORMATION?
The CosmoGlo Original offers a single, bright, crisp white tone. The CosmoGlo XL and Wall light offer 3 tones: cool white, warm, and daylight.
