CosmoGlo Light
EVEN, SHADOW-FREE LIGHT: Delivers balanced illumination across the entire face.
GENTLE ON EYES: Soft, diffused light reduces strain on both you and your clients.
BETTER RESULTS, HAPPIER CLIENTS: Precision lighting leads to flawless work and beautiful, lasting results.
SEE EVERY DETAIL: Bright, even lighting helps you spot every detail with confidence.
STRIP OF LIGHT: Provides focused, consistent light exactly where you work.
Dual Arm Ring Light
ONE-SIDE LIGHT: Light only hits one side of the face.
HARSH SHADOW: The nose and entire opposite side are left in deep shadow, making it hard to see and work accurately.
POOR VISIBILITY: Hard to see details on the shadowed side, increasing eye strain, and the risk of errors.
UNEVEN LIGHTING: Creates imbalance across the face, affecting symmetry and detail work.
Standard Ring Light
LIGHT AVOID: The center area (inner eyes) gets the least light.
FLAT LIGHT: Light shines straight down, creating an unflattering, flat look with harsh shadows.
SHADOWED SIDES: The sides of the face (outer corners) remain in shadow.

FAQs
Which CosmoGlo should I buy: Original, XL, or Wall Light?
Two things decide it: the height of your furniture and how much floor space you can spare.
CosmoGlo Original if you work seated over a flat massage or esthetic bed. It adjusts from 33 to 58 inches, and its 23 x 10-inch base is under an inch tall, so it slides beneath most treatment beds rather than taking up space. One crisp, cool white tone. Built for lashes, facials, brows, nails, and esthetics. From $449.99.
CosmoGlo XL if you stand for part of your service, work with a recliner, tattoo chair, or adjustable bed, or reposition your light often. It adjusts from 45 to 70 inches and uses a larger 23.5 x 12.5-inch base to support the extra height. Three tones: warm, natural daylight, and cool white. From $499.99.
CosmoGlo Wall Light if floor space is your real constraint. It mounts to the wall and uses no floor space at all. Three tones, like the XL. $429.99.
All models include the free content phone clip ($30.99 value). You can take our quiz to find out which light is right for you.
Where should a treatment light be positioned over a client?
We recommend the top of the halo be at the service provider's forehead height, directly over the client, to benefit from the wrap-around LEDs that eliminate shadows by perfectly illuminating your client from side to side.
CosmoGlo lights are positionable so you can move them to reach any angle you need, so you can give your service with the best lighting and maximum efficiency to deliver your best results,
Is CosmoGlo stable and safe to use in my studio?
Absolutely. The CosmoGlo floor lamps feature a heavy-duty steel base with a low-profile, space-saving design that fits under most treatment beds and stays securely in place during long sessions.
CosmoGlo was created because all the other lights on the market were made of cheap materials, used lightweight tripod bases, or had top-heavy bases that lacked stability. When working in a professional setting, it's important to have equipment that feels as if it were built to be part of your treatment room. CosmoGlo offers that. The heavy bases for the floor lamps and the wall mounts both offer the greatest stability of any light on the market because they were built with that function in mind. Our bases are twice as heavy as any other base, and you can feel that confidence when using our light in your studio.
Will CosmoGlo really eliminate shadows?
Yes. CosmoGlo’s patented wrap-around halo evenly illuminates both sides of the face or body at once, eliminating harsh shadows and dark areas so you can see every detail clearly. The focal area is evenly lit by the wrap-around halo, eliminating shadows at the center of the halo.
Why does CosmoGlo use a weighted steel base?
Because a light that is easy to lift is a light that drifts or falls over.
The Original weighs 25 pounds, and the XL weighs 28 pounds, and most of that weight sits in the base.
That weight counterbalances the arm and halo. It is what lets the halo hold its position while you rotate it over a client mid-service, and what lets the base be less than an inch tall instead of a tripod with legs you catch your foot on.
It is a deliberate trade. We gave up portability to get a light that stays exactly where you put it and a base that disappears under your table. If you have ever knocked a lamp with your elbow at the wrong moment, you already know why we made that call.
Is the lighting true to color?
Yes. CosmoGlo uses high-CRI LEDs 95+ for true color accuracy, so skin tones and pigments appear natural and accurate.
The CosmoGlo XL and the Wall Light offer Warm, Daylight, and Cool tones, while the Original features a single, crisp white daylight LED trusted by beauty professionals.
Do CosmoGlo LED lights get hot?
No. CosmoGlo floor lamps use flicker-free, low-heat LED technology, allowing you to work comfortably for hours without overheating or eye strain.
That matters in both directions. You can work under it all day without the warmth that comes off older halogen and incandescent work lamps, and your client is not lying under something heating their face for two hours. It also means the light is not fighting your steamer or your room temperature during a facial.
Does CosmoGlo include a phone holder?
Yes. Every CosmoGlo includes a custom phone mount so you can capture photos and videos hands-free without interrupting your workflow.
How much space does a CosmoGlo floor lamp need?
Less than you would expect, because the base can go under your furniture, helping to save precious floor space.
Plan for the base itself, plus clearance for the halo to swing. Both floor models stretch about 32 inches from the pole to the outer edge of the halo, and that arc is the measurement that actually matters when you are working out where it goes.
- Original base: 23 x 10 inches, less than 1/2 inch tall (when accounting for the rubber feet.
- XL base: 23 x 12.5 inches, less than 1/2 inch tall (when accounting for the rubber feet.
The Wall Light uses no floor space at all. It mounts to the wall with a 19 x 4.75-inch mounting plate and extends up to 37 inches from the wall.
Is CosmoGlo only for lash artists?
No. Our founder was a lash artist when she designed it, which is why the shape solves the lash problem so precisely. But the same problem shows up anywhere someone works over a body for hours with their own hands in the way.
CosmoGlo is used for lash extensions, brows and brow lamination, waxing and sugaring, facials and esthetics, permanent makeup and cosmetic tattoo, tattooing, nail services, and injectables and medical aesthetics.
Which model suits you depends more on your furniture and your room than on your service. See the question above about choosing between the Original, XL, and Wall Light.
