Is the CosmoGlo Light sturdy enough for busy environments?

Yes. Crafted from heavy-duty steel with an industrial-grade finish, the CosmoGlo is built for durability and stability. The weighted base plate is engineered to perfectly balance the upper halo, allowing it to glide into position effortlessly. When your service is finished, the light folds flat against the wall, keeping your workspace clear and professional.

Does the CosmoGlo include a way to film social media content?

Every CosmoGlo Light comes with a custom-designed, sleek phone clip. Positioned at the center of the halo, it provides a bird's-eye view for stable, high-definition overhead filming. This allows you to capture your craft in the best possible light without extra tripods or clunky attachments.

Is there a wall or ceiling attachment or other types of bases?

For base options, we offer a custom Wheel Kit that enhances mobility, adds stability, and raises your light's height. The wheel kit is easy to install and fits all models and generations of CosmoGlo Lights without replacing the whole base. We do not offer any additional wall or ceiling attachments at this time, but we are continually developing new products and refining current designs. What type of lighting does CosmoGlo provide, and what are its heat and brightness levels?

The LEDs used in all CosmoGlo Lights do not emit heat, even at the brightest settings. CosmoGlo LEDs provide fully adjustable, dimmable lighting, allowing you to choose settings from very dim to very bright, suitable for a range of services. Original models have one cool white tone. XL models have three tones, cool white, warm tone, and natural daylight. The brightness of CosmoGlo Lights ranges from 4,000 to 10,000 lumens, equivalent to approximately 60 to 90 LED watts. CRI ratings range from 82.4 to 86.1, depending on the selected LED tone. Power boxes come with 4 outlet attachments and are rated for 100-240V.

What are the dimensions and weight of the CosmoGlo and CosmoGlo XL?

CosmoGlo Original: adjustable height 33 to 58 inches (84 to 147 cm), width from pole to halo edge 32 inches (81 cm), base dimensions 23 by 10 inches (58 by 25 cm), base height less than 1 inch (less than 2.5 cm), weight 25 pounds (11.3 kg), available in black, white, and silver. CosmoGlo XL: adjustable height 45 to 70 inches (114 to 178 cm), width from pole to halo edge 32 inches (81 cm), base dimensions 23.5 by 12.5 inches (60 by 32 cm), base height less than 1 inch (less than 2.5 cm), weight 28 pounds (12.7 kg), available in black, white, gold, pink, lavender, and dark cherry. Additional dimensional details: both models measure around 32 inches (81 cm) from the edge of the pole to the far end of the halo, and the top of the halo arm on both models is approximately 21 inches (53 cm).

What is the difference between the CosmoGlo Original and the CosmoGlo XL?

The CosmoGlo XL has 3 main differences. The XL features an extra-large base to support the additional 12 inches in height, with a max height of 70 inches, and offers tri-tone LEDs in 3 temperatures (warm, daylight, and cool). The XL was designed for services that require standing, full-body accessibility, frequent repositioning around a treatment bed, and for artists working with clients in recliner chairs or adjustable beds. The CosmoGlo Original offers a single crisp white tone and a flat base extending to 58 inches. The Original was designed for services performed on a flat massage-style table, such as eyelash extensions, facials, nails, and esthetics. Both CosmoGlo Light models include our content clip for overhead filming. No need to purchase a clip separately.

Will the phone clip fit my phone?

Our phone clip is sleek, custom-designed, and made for use with CosmoGlo lights. It is positioned at the top of the halo in the center, offering a bird's-eye view of the client. Dimensions: 4 in x 3 in (10.16 cm x 7.62 cm). Compatibility: can secure most standard phone sizes. Includes: one metal clip, 2 security bands. Please keep in mind when purchasing that our clips are only compatible with CosmoGlo lights. Phone clips are included free with every light purchase.

How do I clean my CosmoGlo?

We recommend using lukewarm water with a drop of Dawn dish soap to clean your CosmoGlo. Make sure to dry the cleaned area completely. Another great solution is to cover your halo with a CosmoGlo Vinyl Accent, or to protect the parts of the light that are touched daily with a disposable barrier film. You can wipe your light down with a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints or smudges. We do not recommend cleaning your CosmoGlo with harsh chemicals. Our lights are made of steel, and certain cleaning chemicals can damage metal. Can I use it for my mobile services?

We do not recommend using the CosmoGlo Light for mobile services. It is designed to be stable and sturdy for a studio-type space, requires assembly, and is considered salon furniture. It is best to assemble it once and leave it in your studio as fully assembled lighting equipment. Should you need to move the lights, you can disassemble them and reassemble them in the new location. My order says delivered, but I never received it?

CosmoGlo offers ShipSafe Delivery Assurance to cover shipping-related losses. If you purchased ShipSafe package insurance at checkout, please contact support to start a claim. If you did not purchase ShipSafe, please reach out to support and review our shipping policy for detailed information.

What do I do if my order is missing a part or incorrect?

Please refer to your User Guide or download the PDF on our Assembly page for a detailed list of parts, and go through the entire box once it has been delivered to ensure all items have arrived. If anything is missing or your order arrived differently from what you expected, please contact support within 14 days of delivery.

What kind of warranty is included?

All CosmoGlo lights come with a 1 Year Limited Warranty. New orders can extend and expand their warranty coverage through CosmoGlo Protection. If you experience issues with your CosmoGlo light, please contact support to start a warranty claim.

We also offer discounted replacement parts for out-of-warranty lights. We offer CosmoGlo Protection for new orders. This monthly subscription or upfront yearly payment option comes with a range of benefits and perks. It serves as a warranty extension and accidental coverage for your light, and includes free-of-charge replacements for small parts, free shipping for larger replacements, and low deductible fees.
