Small Business Spotlight: Brittany Sharp Esthetics

In honor of National Small Business Week, we’re excited to highlight Brittany Sharp, the talented brow artist and mentor behind @batyoureyes_. Her business, Brittany Sharp Esthetics, goes far beyond shaping brows. It's about empowering women and showing up with intention every single day.

“My business reflects empowering women, and that is something I truly stand for within this industry,” Brittany shared. “When we empower one another to feel our best, we can be our best. Making someone feel better about themselves and making money doing so is such an underrated blessing.”

A Day in the Life

When asked what a typical day looks like as a small business owner, Brittany doesn’t sugarcoat it: “Busy.”

“I wake up at 5am to start my day, listen to music while I get ready, drop my son off at school, and then see 8+ clients, making sure each one leaves feeling a little more confident. I wrap up my day and head home to be a wife and mom, so my job really never stops, it just switches come evening time.”

The Work No One Sees

Running a small business comes with its share of unseen effort. “It’s all the little details wrapped into the bigger picture,” Brittany explained. “You almost have to have everything working smoothly in the background (like logistics and the stuff people don’t see) in order to successfully and efficiently run a business.”

Customer Experience is Everything

What sets Brittany apart is the care she puts into every appointment. “I pay attention to detail and take the time to really be intentional with each client,” she said. “It sounds cliché, but I truly treat them how I’d want to be treated. I don’t let them leave until I’d be happy paying for the service I’ve given them. I remember their loved ones' names and try to remember what they last told me so I can follow up.”

Facing Challenges Head-On While Staying Grounded

Like many small business owners, Brittany has faced self-doubt. “Imposter syndrome. Putting myself out there used to feel sooo scary and vulnerable,” she said. “Until I hit 30 and really stopped caring what other people think so much. I’d rather be cringe in someone else’s mind than caged in my own.”

When things get tough, Brittany turns to nature: “I love getting out in nature when I’m dealing with anything heavy. It’s become a therapy for me in so many ways, including when wearing many hats feels extra heavy.”

Why Small Business Matters

For Brittany, supporting small businesses is personal. “Because you’re supporting someone who is putting clothes on their kids' backs and food on the table,” she said.
